Created for the 2025 Human Connection Tour by @throughstrangerseyes, Brisa is more than just a campervan — she’s a mobile sanctuary designed to support one man’s mission to connect Australia, one conversation at a time.
From a Park Bench to a National Movement
Blair Rubock started with a simple idea: bring a camera to a park bench and listen. No scripts. No judgments. Just space for real stories. What began on the Gold Coast has evolved into a movement dedicated to vulnerability, mental health awareness, and authentic human connection.
Through Through Strangers’ Eyes, Blair has created a platform where everyday people can share their experiences and feel seen — a powerful reminder that being human comes before anything else.
Meet Brisa: Built for the Road and the Heart
To support this mission, we reimagined our Brisa layout and tailored it for life on the road, storytelling, and community impact. Built on a VW Crafter, Brisa includes:

🎙️ Dinette by day, podcast studio ready
🛏️ Pull-out queen bed by night
🚿 Indoor shower, hot water & climate control
🪵 Custom camphor timber finishes and hidden storage
💙 A soothing blue interior designed to hold space for calm, care, and connection
Touring Australia with Purpose
Over the next 12 months, Blair will travel to hundreds of towns and communities across Australia. Through one-on-one conversations, podcast recordings, and community events, he’ll be using Brisa to facilitate real, raw dialogue around mental health and suicide prevention.
